Cloves have been in cultivation for at least 2000 years. The clove essential oil used in this soap is steam distilled from hand-picked, unopened dry flower buds of the tropical evergreen tree, eugenia carophyllata. Clove has been used as a purifying agent for minor cuts and insect bites. The soap's spicy and woody aroma warms the senses to promote relaxation. This is an excellent foot soap as the essential oil has deodorizing properties to freshen and reduce odor. Oatmeal has been added to gently exfoliate dry or rough skin. Produces a rich and creamy lather.

For every olive oil soap sold, LATHER will donate the equivalent of five bars of soap to Clean The World, a non-profit organization that recycles and distributes soap around the world to people in need."
